Data processing policy (Colombia, Law 1581)

This policy applies to members in Colombia and follows Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations (Decree 1377 of 2013, compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015).

Purposes

We process your data to provide the service, build your personal plan, bill you, give you support, send you service communications and, only with your prior authorisation, marketing communications.

Sensitive data

Health data (injuries, pregnancy, postpartum, weight) is sensitive data. Giving it is optional and requires your prior, express and informed authorisation, which we ask for in the questionnaire. You are not obliged to provide it, and refusing doesn’t stop you from using the service.

Your rights (habeas data)

• Know, update and correct your personal data.
• Ask for proof of the authorisation you gave.
• Be told how your data is used.
• File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
• Withdraw your authorisation and ask for your data to be deleted when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
• Access your data free of charge.

How to exercise them

Write to arkko@gmail.com from the email on your account, saying what you are asking for. We answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as the law sets out.

International transfers

Your data is hosted by providers in other countries, such as the United States, that offer adequate protection and are bound by contract to protect it.
